MAJOR MAGENTO NEWS ALERT!

Hold onto your hats folks!!!…

Ebay Enterprise has shockingly announced that it will be shutting down its Magento Go platform- oh ma gawd! This will leave thousands of Merchants scratching their heads and in need of finding and migrating to a different solution for their online stores, what a palava!? No need to fret though, Big Eye Deers is here to help!

The reason behind the change? Magento wants to focus solely on its primary resources; Magento Enterprise and Community Editions which it claims offer ‘better support and better equip small and medium size merchants to prosper’ – You can’t argue with that!

We champion Magento Community Edition and have worked with the platform since its inception in 2008. Many of our clients are using this solution, to their advantage. It’s a great platform that is extremely flexible and can be tailored exactly to a client’s needs and requirements.

With the big date set for February 1st 2015Magento merchants have been assured that their services won’t be disrupted over the holiday period, but with a big change like that looming, we’d imagine many of them jumping ship well before that date gets close.

Do you have Magento Go and need to migrate to a different solution? Big Eye Deers can give you advice and even help you transition the site onto a new platform, without loss or disruption to your services. The platform change needn’t be a stressful one, but it’s important you let Magento experts take the burden off your shoulders so you can continue to focus on the business.

We are experts in both Magento eCommerce and bespoke WordPress web design and web development. We keep up to date with the latest trends in the digital world to ensure we are always giving our clients the best solutions out there.
