Super King Heaven
Our client Super King Heaven was looking to venture into eCommerce having traded offline for a number of years. We suggested their new store be built on Magento as we feel Magento's features and benefits are unrivalled by any other eCommerce platform.
Brief
Our client had been successfully selling their range of luxury beds for a number of years but was looking to take the business online in the form of an eCommerce store. They wanted to be positioned as a luxury seller with mid-range prices and had to stand out in the already saturated market.
Design
After speaking with the client, we decided that their new store should be built using open source technologies. Magento was chosen as it’s customisable features and functions benefitted Super King Heaven. We designed the store to offer a fantastic user experience for visitors to interact with all the product and information at ease. This included adding bespoke functionality to the Magento product pages, creating a customer service video utilised through various social media channels, and bespoke blog content. We also integrated our custom news feed module which pulls the latest blog posts into the Magento homepage. We re-branded Super King Heaven and designed a logo that incorporated the iconic product and a sense of luxury. The client was also keen to have a website that allowed him to easily run Groupon and KGBDeal promotions, we incorporated the functionality to support this, whilst optimising the server setup in a scalable environment to handle heavy traffic spikes.
Solution
Since the site launched it has had a great response with each visit spending an average of 9 minutes on the site and a bounce rate of around 34%. During the group buying deals visits to the site were up on average by 400% on the launch days compared to previous weeks. This increase in visits and extra 2000 page views were great news for the client and resulted in extra purchases and chances to upsell.
