Brief
Project One Wales came to Big Eye Deers wanting to move their business forward with a brand new site that showcased their great work and we were happy to help. Their previous site was static and the current brand did not reflect their strong portfolio. Our brief was to undertake a site refresh that successfully communicated their professional service and highlighted some of their designs.
Design
We wanted their new site to go further with more photography to show off their work! We adopted a sleek colour palette consisting of various shades of grey and turquoise for title highlights to make the images stand out and create a more professional image. We kept text on the site to a minimum and created a series of jQuery slide galleries for each project and build category so the work could be displayed. Using a Wordpress CMS each area of the site can also be easily updated by employees and new projects and portfolio photos can be added with ease.
Solution
A stylish and modern website that successfully showcases Project One Wales’ work and values. The branding doesn’t detract from the photography and is just as effective in print, remaining consistent across a range of advertising and corporate stationary. The website has already had a lot of interest and the simple contact form makes it easier for visitors to the site to get in touch with the team. The online site is managed by WordPress meaning the clients can easily add new projects, edit existing text and upload photos whenever they wish.
