We created the first website for this award-winning business back in 2006, but we and the Manx2 team agreed that both the site and the brand needed a refresh, with their new requirements including a range of online services, monthly e-Marketing mailers and subsequent online analysis.
We wanted a platform for Manx2 to engage with their customers so integrated social networking feeds from facebook, twitter, flickr and the Manx2 blog to give up-to-the-minute information on flight times, new routes, travel news and holiday snapshots. To make the most of the space we had on the homepage we used a jQuery slideshow to prominently feature stunning images of the island. This space also provided an opportunity to place promotional banners to grab visitors’ attention straight away with price led offers and key messages. We would also be undertaking monthly newsletter campaigns for the client that would notify their customer base of sale offers, new routes and Manx2 news. Mailchimp provides the perfect platform to send, manage and analyse these campaigns.
A user friendly airline website that is proud of its roots, destinations, and customer service. Chairman Noel Hayes embraced the idea of social media integration for the site, and with feeds pulling information from various sources like Twitter and Flickr customers can see the charm, personality and ethos behind the airline. We’re really pleased with the results – the new site is user friendly and offers loads of interactive elements. Not only can visitors see destination photos encouraging them to purchase tickets, but they can read and comment on news stories, even submit photos that can be featured. The site uses the Airkiosk system - an integrated solution for distribution, reservations, inventory management, check-in and revenue management.
